It has been 20 years since Tejano singer Selena Quintanilla-Perez was shot and killed by her fan club President after meeting her at a hotel in Corpus Christie, Texas. Fans of Selena have remembered her for years and she continues to be known as the Queen of Tejano music.
Her life was made into a biopic featuring singer and actress Jennifer Lopez playing the late star. Her music is still heard to this day and everyone who remembers her focuses on the beauty and joy in her life rather than her tragic death. Lopez herself recently said that there could never be another star like Selena.
TheCelebrityCafe.com has put together some of the top ten songs released by Selena during her all too short time as an entertainer. You may hear some of these songs on the radio, such as “Dreaming Of You” and “Bidi Bidi Bom Bom,” which are just two of her most popular songs.
What song of Selena’s is your favorite? What do you remember most about her? If you don’t see a song you love on this list, comment below and tell us which one is your pick!

1. Amor Prohibido
This beautiful song recorded by Selena is another one of my favorites and the video shows her dancing and singing in a desert setting, looking beautiful and classy as she always did. It is off her album off the same name and tells the story of two lovers who stay together despite criticism from society due to their differing backgrounds.
