One Direction’s fans just can’t catch a break. First, Zayn Malik quits and now it looks like their beloved Niall Horan has been dating Melissa Whitelaw for far longer than we thought.
A new video has surfaced of Horan holding hands and being very cute with Whitelaw back in 2014. He was only spotted with the law student on Valentine’s Day of this year, so now it’s confirmed they’ve been an item for much longer.
They were first seen last November at the ARIA Awards, but it wasn’t confirmed they were a couple until they were seen kissing in February.
According to MTV UK, Horan attended the Trekstock’s Great Gatsby charity event on Thursday and Whitelaw was seen accompanying him. Whitelaw has also been seen joining Horan on tour in Australia.
HollywoodLife reports fans are now freaking out about this video that has surfaced of the couple from last year, taking to Twitter in fits of jealousy.
