After an intense competition between the Voice semi finalists, it was down to five and only three could advance to the finale. The show wasted no time and right off the top announced that Sawyer Fredricks from Team Pharrell.
Before the results continued Snoop Dogg performed with Pharrell Williams. Williams has been working with Dogg on his latest album Bush. Following that performance was the announcement that Meghan Linsey would be saved and had earned a spot in the finale.
The final female vocalists, Koryn Hawthore, Meghan Linsey and India Carney took the stage to perform a special Journey ballad. The ladies sang, “Faithfully” and put an emotional spin on a rock ‘n’ roll classic. The men of this season took the stage to perform one last time together and they sang, “Give Me The Beat Boys” by the Doobie Brothers.
After that performance, it was announced that the first artist to perform tonight would be India Carney in the last chance performance. The last artist to sing for their life would be Koryn Hawthorne, this meant that taking the next spot in the finale was Joshua Davis from Team Adam.
Carney took to the stage first and performed her own version of “Dark Side” by Kelly Clarkson. Koryn Hawthorne followed with her cover of Beyonce’s “If I Were A Boy.”
After both ladies gave it their all on stage, Koryn Hawthorne advanced to the finale and India Carney was sent home.
Team Adam, Team Blake and Team Pharrell will all be represented in the finale.
