NBC’s America’s Got Talent started its 10th season last night, meaning that the summer is officially here. To change things up, the show will include a four-week long “Judge Cuts” segment with four guest judges to help Howard Stern, Heidi Klum, Howie Mandel and Mel B to pick the final 36 acts.

The guest judges will include actor Neil Patrick Harris, who was invited by Stern; singer Michael Buble, who Klum brought in; comedian Marlon Wayans, who was brought in by Mandel; and Piers Morgan, who was invited by Mel B. They will each get their own “Golden Buzzer,” which lets them send a guest to the live Radio City Music Hall shows, no matter what the regular judges say.

The Judge Cuts episodes will be taped Today and Friday in Bethpage, New York. The first episode will air on Tuesday, July 14 at 8 p.m.

AGT’s live shows begin on Tuesday, Aug. 8 p.m.

Morgan should definitely be familiar to AGT viewers, since he was a judge on the show before Stern came on the show. As for Harris, his appearance on the show will give NBC time to plug his new variety show, Best Time Ever, which will premiere in the fall.

Wayans also has a connection to NBC, as he currently hosts I Can Do That!, which airs after AGT on Tuesdays this summer.
