Amy Schumer’s work on Comedy Central has sent her profile skyrocketing and it looks like she’s outgrown basic cable. She just landed her first HBO comedy special and a big-name director behind the camera.

HBO Programming President Michael Lombardo announced today that Schumer will perform at the Apollo Theater in New York on May 29. Chris Rock will direct it and the special will air later this year.

“Amy is one of the most inspired comics working today, and we hope her first HBO special marks the start of a long and beautiful relationship,” Lombardo said. “This event is even more special because our good friend, the incredibly talented Chris Rock, is directing.”

Schumer is the star of the Peabody Award-winning series Inside Amy Schumer, which is in its third season on Comedy Central and already got picked up for a fourth. She’s been pushing the boundaries of sketch comedy this season, especially with this week’s 22-minute 12 Angry Men parody that featured Paul Giamatti, John Hawkes and Jeff Goldblum debating her hotness.

She already did a special for Comedy Central called Mostly Sex Stuff and stars in Judd Apatow’s latest film, Trainwreck. She also wrote the movie, which opens on July 17.

As for Rock, he recently wrote, directed and starred in Top Five.

Inside Amy Schumer airs on Tuesdays at 10:30 p.m.
