Bruce Jenner is responding to a lawsuit the stepchildren of the victim of the fatal car crash he was involved in filed, arguing they don’t have a right to get any money from him.
The crash killed one of his neighbors in Malibu, Calif., Kim Howe, and a MTA bus camera showed the Keeping Up with the Kardashians star was at fault.
TMZ reports Jenner has responded to a man named William, 57, and his sister Dana, 60, who were the stepchildren of Howe, who have filed a wrongful death lawsuit.
Jenner called it a “terrible tragedy” but doesn’t think their connection to the victim gives them a right to collect any money. Howe reportedly had not talked to her stepchildren in years so Jenner is trying to get the lawsuit thrown out.
As we previosuly reported, it’s rumored the stepchildren are the only two living people who can file a wrongful death lawsuit for Howe. Her husband died in 2003 and both of her parents have also passed away. She has no other blood relatives.
