NCIS fans can breathe easy now as CBS has finally announced they are renewing all three shows of the hit franchise. NCIS: New Orleans was the only drama from the franchise to have an early renewal notice and now CBS has released which shows are coming back.
Entertainment Weekly reported that among NCIS and NCIS: Los Angeles, the television network also renewed The Good Wife, Hawaii Five-O, Blue Bloods, Elementary, Person of Interest, Criminal Minds and CSI: Cyber.
In addition, Matthew Perry’s show The Odd Couple will also be coming back, along with The Undercover Boss, Survivor and The Amazing Race.
One show that may be on the brink of cancellation and has not been picked up is CSI. As previously reported, the decision may come that the series will end with a two hour television movie. A decision could be announced at the CBS Upfronts on Wednesday.
CBS has already revealed some of their cancelled shows, which include Battle Creek, The McCarthy’s and Stalker.
Madame Secretary and Scorpion will also be returning to CBS in addition to new shows including a Criminal Minds spinoff and Supergirl.
