Chad Coleman of The Walking Dead had a freak out on a subway in New York City on Friday. Now the Dead star is apologizing for his actions. Coleman is best known for his work as Tyreese on AMC's hit drama.
TMZ spoke to Coleman after the incident happened but now it appears that he wants to apologize. Coleman explained that his rant was due to "built-up frustration" over the death of Freddie Gray in Baltimore. He went on to say that he was not drinking at the time of the rant.
As previously reported, a video was posted of the rant and featured Coleman yelling, "I wanna know where my humanitarians are! Yes, I am Chad L. Coleman! I’m on ‘The Wire,’ ‘The Walking Dead.’ I’m not trying to f—ing play no games with you!"
Coleman was riding the number 4 subway train in lower Manhattan and invited the people on board to record the rant and that he was in fact an actor. It can be heard during the video that he told bystanders to film this and "get it on TMZ."
