CBS has released the trailers for several of its new shows that will premiere in the fall, including the new Supergirl series and Limitless.
Earlier today, CBS unveiled their 2015-2016 TV season schedule and had its upfront presentation for advertisers later today.
Supergirl will air on Mondays at 8 p.m. - at the exact same time Fox airs the Batman prequel series Gotham - starting in November, once Thursday Night Football finishes. At that point, The Big Bang Theory and the new family sitcom Life in Pieces will move to Thursdays. Supergirl is from producer Greg Berlanti, who is also behind The CW’s Arrow and The Flash.
Limitless is based on the Bradley Cooper movie and will actually feature Cooper returning to the role in a recurring capacity. The real star of the show is Jake McDorman, who plays another man using the same mysterious drug Cooper used in the film. The show will air on Thursdays at 10 p.m.
Angel from Hell, which will air on Thursdays at 9:30 p.m. after TNF ends, stars Glee’s Jane Lynch as co-star Maggie Lawson’s new friend. Lynch might be an angel... or she might be crazy.
Code Black is a new medical drama about the busiest ER in the country and stars Marcia Gay Harden. It is set to air on Wednesdays at 10 p.m.
The last show to get a trailer is Life in Pieces, which stars Colin Hanks, Dianne Wiest and James Brolin.
