Chris Brown completed his probation from his 2009 assault on Rihanna very recently and has now been named a battery suspect stemming from an alleged altercation in Las Vegas.
Brown is staying at the Palms Casino Resort and had been playing basketball there on Monday when the alleged incident occurred. The victim was treated for injuries at Sunrise Hospital & Medical Center.
The “Loyal” singer is being accused of punching him on the court, but his publicist, Nicole Perna, denies any involvement.
“A verbal altercation on the court led to a physical fight and the victim was punched by another male subject who was later identified as 25-year-old recording artist Chris Brown,” Las Vegas police said in statement.
Perna has since told CNN Brown "has a suite at the hotel that has a basketball court and invited friends to come play. An unruly individual showed up uninvited and was removed from the premises. Chris was not in an altercation with this person."
Brown’s probation officially ended on March 20.
