Emma Stone and Andrew Garfield are rumored to be taking a break, but the actress gushed about her Amazing Spider-Man co-star in a new interview.
Stone called Garfield a “wordsmith” and a “poet” during a chat with Interview Magazine.
In response to the quote attributed to Garfield, which he said, “Working with Emma was like diving into a thrilling, twisting river and never holding on to the sides. From the start. To the end. Spontaneous. In the moment. Present. Terrifying. Vital. The only way acting with someone should be,” she said “that's the way he writes in general.”
She added, “So I hear it and of, course, my heart swells up. And I also know that he writes things like that on a daily basis."
As we previously reported, the couple’s schedules have been keeping them apart lately, so they’re currently taking a break.
Garfield is currently in Taiwan filming Silence and Stone likely couldn’t go there with him because of work commitments of her own.
The couple was first linked in 2011.
