The death of Adrian Robinson, a former NFL player who was just 25 years old, has been ruled a suicide.

Robinson’s death was announced by his reps, Symmetry, on Monday. No further details were released at the time. However, The Denver Post now reports that the Philadelphia medical examiner’s office has ruled his death a suicide by hanging. They would not give any further information on his death.

Robinson was a Harrisburg, Pennsylvania native who attended Temple University and played for both NFL Pennsylvania teams. He signed with the Steelers in 2012 as an unrestricted free agent, then was traded to the Eagles at the end of that season. He was cut by the Eagles, then signed by the Broncos in 2013. After playing in six games with Denver, he spent time with the Chargers and Redskins. He didn’t play football in 2014, but had signed a deal with a Canadian Football League for 2015 last month.

Symmetry said that Robinson had a young daughter, Avery Marie. They set up a GoFundMe page to help raise money for her. So far, $670 has been raised in a day.
