Bones will be back for another season. The long-running crime drama starring Emily Deschanel and David Boreanaz will be returning for an 11th season in the fall.
The news was shared by TVLine and then confirmed on the show’s official Twitter page. The show was only picked up after Boreanaz and Deschanel signed on for another year.
There will be some shuffling behind the scenes. Showrunner Stephen Nathan is leaving temporarily so he can work on another project for Fox. Co-showrunners Jonathan Collier and Michael Peterson will continue to oversee the show.
Bone’s 10th season finishes on Monday, June 11 at 8 p.m.
Fox’s 2015-2016 season will include John Stamos’ Grandfathered, Rob Lowe’s The Grinder and The Guide to Surviving Life.
New Girl, The Simpsons, Gotham, Empire and Brooklyn Nine-Nine have been renewed. The Mindy Project was cancelled.
