While The CW renewed nearly everything from its 2014-15 season, Hart of Dixie is not one of them. The drama series starring Rachel Bilson has been cancelled after four seasons.

The show, which starred Bilson as a New York doctor working in a small town, ended its fourth season with a finale that wrapped up storylines, which should make its death easier to take. According to Deadline, the season finale drew 1.37 million viewers and a 0.4 rating in the 18-49 demographic.

Zap2It notes that The Messengers was also cancelled after just one season.

The CW didn’t have only bad news for its viewers this week, though. iZombie, the new series from Rob Thomas, was renewed for a second season. Rose McIver stars as a zombie who helps police solve crimes.

Back in January, the network renewed eight other shows for the 2015-16 season. The returning shows are:

Arrow
Jane The Virgin
Reign
Supernatural
The 100
The Flash
The Originals
The Vampire Diaries

The CW is also developing a new spin-off from the Flash/Arrow universe.
