Human Barbie Valeria Lukyanova posts new pictures, says she 'needs some muscle'

Valeria Lukyanova, the model who has gained fame as the “Human Barbie” has at last figured out that having some muscle is a good thing. She shared some new pictures from a photoshoot this week and revealed that she doesn’t like her body.

The 29-year-old has been posting photos on Facebook recently, showing off the results of the working out she started last year. According to E! News, some of her recent postings have noted that she wants to model her body after an “Amazon Woman.” She has also written on social media, “I no longer like my body. It needs some muscle.”

On Thursday, she posted a long message on Facebook in Russian, calling out those who have criticized her body.

“It is a pity that most people choose the path of degradation,” she wrote, Us Weekly notes. “"If they see a man who has succeeded with something better than they are, they are ready to literally tear. Especially often I see it on the Internet.”

She also wrote that she is “very far” from ideal after she was attacked on Halloween night at her home in Ukraine. “But I strive for athleticism... So funny that girls and boys from sporting groups write such nasty things about my body... so much negativity.”
