After scoring an Oscar for writing the adapted screenplay for The Imitation Game, Graham Moore is going to television. He’s created an untitled series about a global epidemic and World War Z director Marc Forster has signed to direct the pilot.

NBC has put in a straight-to-series order for 10 episodes of the series, which is currently untitled.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, the series starts with a woman who comes down with a mysterious illness. The FBI is also investigating a terrorist attack that is mysteriously linked to the illness.

The series will be produced by Endemol Shine Studios and developed with Sky Network, which will carry it in the U.K., notes Deadline.

There doesn’t appear to be a timeline for this series to hit the air. It does continue the broadcast networks’ curious obsession with outbreak dramas as The CW also has Containment ready for the 2015-2016 TV season. Fox’s Last Man on Earth comedy also tells of the events after an outbreak that wipes away most of humanity.
