Kendall and Kylie Jenner have filed applications to trademark their first names, which is most likely a move orchestrated by their business-savvy momager Kris Jenner.
They filed the applications last month. Part of the reason is so no one can use their names for profit or false advertising when it comes to personal appearances.
TMZ reports they filed the applications in "entertainment in the nature of providing information by means of a global computer network in the fields of entertainment, fashion and pop culture."
There are other celebrities who share the same name, such as pop star Kylie Minogue, who likely won’t need to abide by the trademark because she doesn't just go by her first name.
Meanwhile, Kylie’s older boyfriend, rapper Tyga, 25, reportedly recently got her name tattooed on his arm after his ex-fiance, Blac Chyna, posted text messages he sent her to Instagram reportedly trying to get her back.
He also offered a romantic gesture to try and make things right, setting up an intimate picnic for them on Saturday.
A source told HollywoodLife, “I couldn’t hear what they were talking about, but she was smiling, laid back and laughing. She had her feet on his lap while they ate on the grass, and a few times, I saw her wiping his face with his napkin.”
