Fuller House just added one more member. Lori Loughlin will reprise her role as Aunt Becky on the highly anticipated Full House spinoff.
The actress announced the exciting news in an interview with Good Morning America on Thursday.
"Officially, I am going to be a part of the spinoff Fuller House," she said. "I'm very excited. It's going to be really great to be back with the whole cast. It will be a lot of fun."
As we previously reported, Loughlin discussed the possibility of returning to the series earlier this month. At the time she was unsure if she would be coming back and whether or not the whole cast would be either.
The Netflix revival of the popular '90s series will focus on the eldest Tanner daughter, D.J. (Candice Cameron) who seeks help from her sister Stephanie (Jodie Sweetin) and her best friend Kimmy (Andrea Barber) after the death of her husband, as noted by E! News. The two will move in and help D.J. take care of her children, just like her Uncle Jesse and Uncle Joey did for her father, Danny on Full House.
"We're going to help Candace, Jodi and Andrea spin off the new show," Loughlin revealed. "So we'll come back and do the first episode and maybe throughout we'll pop up here and there."
Loughlin also addressed the news that Mary-Kate Olsen and Ashley Olsen decided they will not be returning to reprise their iconic character Michelle Tanner.
"We would've loved it. It would've been great," Loughlin said. "But I understand."
Fuller House is set to premiere in 2016 with an one-hour reunion special to kick off the new series.
