Remember that fast food chain from Breaking Bad whose owner was secretly running a giant meth empire? Well, apparently there are talks to turn that into an actual restaurant, though hopefully without the meth this time.

Breaking Bad creator Vince Gilligan recently did an Ask Me Anything on Reddit, and he revealed that there is talk of opening an actual Los Pollos Hermanos restaurant.

"This is not an idea that I generated personally," he wrote. "But it's one that's been presented to me, through the good folks at Sony, and the idea came to them from a businessman who has an interest in doing just that."

Los Pollos Hermanos became a surprisingly big part of Breaking Bad's legacy in popular culture, with a whole lot of merchandise for the show having the restaurant's logo. Given the rabid fanbase for the series, the novelty of going to a restaurant that was so heavily involved in the series would certainly draw in plenty of customers.

Of course, if anyone was interested in going to the real Los Pollos Hermanos, they could head over to Twisters in Albuquerque, where the Breaking Bad crew actually shot the Los Pollos Hermanos scenes. They don't sell fried chicked, though, so if you want the authentic Breaking Bad experience, you'll have to wait until this new place opens.
