Patricia M. Shong was such a big fan of New England Patriots’ Tom Brady that she took the opportunity to defend his participation in the deflategate scandal in her obituary.

Shong died at the age of 72 in Auburn, Massachusetts on Monday and mentioned all of her loved ones in her obituary – including the quarterback.

“She would also like us to set the record straight for her: Brady is innocent!!" the obituary reads, MyFoxBoston reports.

Brady was suspended for four games, the Patriots were fined $1 million, and the team lost two draft picks because of the NFL declaring he was aware of under-inflated footballs ahead of their AFC Championship game against the Indianapolis Colts.

Daily News reports a “Free Tom Brady” rally even took place on Sunday outside of Gillette Stadium. Protestors held up signs and wore T-shirts in support of their cause asking the NFL to appeal his suspension.
