Prince George now has a little sister. Catherine, the Duchess of Cambridge, gave birth to a baby girl in London this morning.

The British Royal family announced the happy news, confirming that the baby was born healthy at 8:38 a.m., weighings 8 lbs, 3 oz. Prince William, the Duke of Cambridge, was with his wife at the time at the Lindo Wing of St. Mary's Hospital.

“The Queen, The Duke of Edinburgh, The Prince of Wales and The Duchess of Cornwall, Prince Harry and members of both families have been informed and are delighted with the news. Her Royal Highness and her child are both doing well,” the statement read.

The Princess was born just days after the couple celebrated their fourth wedding anniversary. They are already parents to Prince George, who was born in July 2013 at the same hospital.

Prince Charles, William’s father, will certainly be delighted by the news of a granddaughter. He reportedly said this week that the family is hoping for a girl.

The Princess will be fourth in line for the throne, following Charles, William and George. Sorry, Prince Harry.
