Selma Blair has been picked to star in FX’s miniseries The People v OJ Simpson, the first season in the new American Crime Story anthology series. The former Anger Management star will play Kris Jenner.
The casting was confirmed by Entertainment Weekly. Jenner was married to the late Robert Kardashian at the time of Simpson’s famed trial in the murder of Nicole Brown Simpson and Ronald Goldman.
People v O.J. Simpson is based on The Run of his Life: The People v. O.J. Simpson by Jeffrey Toobin and will be directed by Ryan Murphy. The script was written by Scott Alexander and Larry Karaszewski (Ed Wood, Big Eyes).
Cuba Gooding Jr will star as Simpson, while David Schwimmer was cast as Robert Kardashian.
Other stars in the cast include John Travolta, Connie Britton, Courtney B. Vance and Jordanna Brewster. Filming is already underway in Los Angeles.
