Sofia Vergara hit a milestone in her career on Thursday when she accepted a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. She was accompanied by her fiancé, Joe Manganiello, at the ceremony.
Vergara, who Forbes has named the highest-paid television actress for the past three years, thanked her Modern Family character Gloria Pritchett in her speech.
"I owe everything I have been able to do in the American market to this amazing character, and I'm always going to remember this in my life,” she said, adding "I would not be here" if the character didn't exist.
Reuters reports she posed by the star with her cast-members of the Emmy award-winning ABC show as well as Manganiello.
This month has been full of highs and lows for Vergara, who’s film Hot Pursuit comes out Friday. She appeared on Good Morning America to defend herself in the embryo battle with ex-fiance Nick Loeb while he told his side on Today.
