Only one new show will air on The CW this fall and no, it doesn’t have anything to do with DC Comics superheroes. Crazy Ex-Girlfriend, a show that was originally developed at Showtime, has been paired with Jane the Virgin.
DC’s Legends of Tomorrow, which was only one of three new shows The CW ordered to series last week, won’t debut until midseason. Cordon, which has since been renamed Containment, will also not debut until later in the 2015-2016 TV season. Returning series The 100 was also held back for midseason.
Crazy Ex-Girlfriend with Rachel Bloom has been paired with the critically acclaimed Jane the Virgin on Monday nights. The Flash will act as the lead-in for iZombie on Tuesdays.
Arrow will air on Wednesdays just before the zillionth season of Supernatural. (OK, Supernatural is only entering its 11th season.)
The Originals has moved to Thursdays and will air after The CW’s other long-running show, The Vampire Diaries. That way, The CW will have an all-vampire night.
Reign was moved to Fridays and will be paired with America’s Next Top Model.
