The Mindy Project fans rejoice; Hulu has officially picked up the series.

As we previously reported, Fox had canceled the Mindy Kaling sitcom earlier this month after only three seasons and that there were reports of the show being picked up by the popular online streaming service.

The news that The Mindy Project would become part of the Hulu family came directly from Hulu’s website.

In an official statement Hulu said, “We are excited to officially announce that Hulu will deliver season four – that’s 26 new episodes – of the critically acclaimed series The Mindy Project. The series will join Hulu’s Original Programming slate in a new agreement with Universal Television.”

Hulu even featured a short video of compiled clips from the show to announce the new addition on its website.

Even Mindy Kaling herself is delighted by this news.

"I am thrilled The Mindy Project has found a new home on Hulu, where so many of our fans are already watching the show. It's such an exciting place to be," Kaling said in a statement according to E Online.

Though there is no set premiere date for the show’s fourth season, fans can stream the previous seasons on Hulu now.
