TLC has pulled 19 Kids and Counting from their schedule following sexual molestation allegations against the eldest of the family, Josh Duggar.
The fate of the show is currently unknown long-term, but for now the show is off the air.
TheWrap reports TLC has not commented yet.
Duggar admitted to molesting five young girls in 2005, including some of his sisters. It’s not known which sisters he abused.
Duggar quickly responded to the reports of sexual molestation, calling his actions “inexcusable.”
That didn’t stop many Twitter users from voicing their opinion about the Duggars’ future with TLC, using hashtags like #CanceltheDuggars and #19KidsandCounting.
Montel Williams even condemned Duggar for his “hypocrisy” for calling the LGBT community a danger to children, calling him a “bigot” and a “slimeball.”
The matriarch of the now-canceled Here Comes Honey Boo, June ‘Mama’ Shannon threatened to sue the network if they didn’t cancel the show, citing that one of its stars was directly involved in the crime unlike her case, where she was accused of dating the man convicted of molesting her daughter.
