For the season finale of NCIS: Los Angeles, the team had to track down Karposev and Anna in order to not only rescue the young woman, but also to track down the sellers of the oil that was stolen.
There are no shortages of surprises in this episode, especially when Anna is able to hold her own against Karposev and has her own feelings about how much she will help the team find out what is going on with the case.
Soon enough, we learn that ISIS is connected to the case and that the team has to stop the buyers from purchasing oil from the sellers. It is a complicated, yet exciting case that they must work together to solve before they lose the sellers for good and anything happens to the oil.
This episode also touched on important facts regarding Callen’s past. There is still so much to learn about who his family is, including the fact that his father was presumed dead, but may have actually been alive for a number of years. While the episode doesn’t end with a huge cliffhanger, it still leaves many unanswered questions and raises new queries over the identities of certain people featured.
The focus of this episode was mainly on the case rather than the personal happenings for the characters, with the exception of Callen. We still don’t know the outcome of the investigation into Deeks and there is still possibly more to learn about Callen next season. For right now, let’s take a look at the top moments from “Chernoff, K.”
