The season finale of NCIS: New Orleans focused on finding a mole within the department. After Baitfish’s murder, Pride realizes only those who knew about the route he was travelling would have been able to tell someone where his location was. This leads him to believe they have a mole in their midst and must work together with his team to figure out who the person is.

Meanwhile, the team gets a case that will ultimately bring up a connection to their mole. When Logistics Specialist David Hanson is killed, an open container near his body reveals evidence that people were smuggled in through the ports. Through the investigation, the team finds the girls and discovers an identifying signature that will bring them closer to those involved.

As this is going on, Chris is still dealing with his loss and Brody sees he is having trouble holding onto a pendant that he got from Savannah’s father. She decides to help him out in her own way. Plus, Sonja, the ATF agent who has been helping the team with their investigation, may be interested in being part of the team. And when Pride gets help from his father, he makes a move that surprises the inmate.

A lot happened in the last episode of the season and it will bring us into a second season once the summer is over. Until then, here are our top moments from “My City.”

7. Group of girls

The container that Hanson opened contained some girls that were brought in from Ecuador. Two West African men had smuggled them in and when Hanson opened the door, one of them killed him so the girls couldn’t escape. The security footage was wiped clean so no one would be able to access it. When the girls are found, one of them is able to give Pride an identifying piece of physical information that ties an individual to their case.

4. Explosion

Pride goes to see his father and when Cassius reads through some paperwork on Hamilton’s donors, he finds out who the mole is based on a name he reads. A woman named Suzy Rivard has a husband in jail with him and he recently got one of the nicer prison cells, which is not cheap. She is connected to Warren and Hamilton and we discover her maiden name is Messier. This leads Pride to conclude Detective Jim Messier is their mole. The team is able to locate him and when they arrive, Chris and Pride find him beaten and handcuffed to a pipe. Then Chris finds a bomb and it is about to go off.

Using the remains of the bomb and Messier’s own words, Sebastian and the team are able to figure out that Ekpo and his companion are looking to bomb a facility that would release radioactive materials into the water supply. Eventually, they discover weapons have been stolen from different military units and determine where Ekpo would have to go to set off the particular bomb.

1. Family

Pride has a talk with Sonja, who was acting weird earlier when she went looking through Patton’s laptop and was looking into their budget. It turns out she is interested in joining the team. She has always been on her own and wanted to work with them. Later, Brody goes to see Chris, who has been trying to hold onto a pendant Savannah’s dad gave her. Brody gives him the string to the necklace that she wears that belonged to her sister. She doesn’t want him to lose the pendant and tells him it would be an honor for him to wear it.
