Judging by a Twitter argument between Zayn Malik and Louis Tomlinson, Malik’s exit from One Direction might not have been so cordial.
Producer Naughty Boy seems to be a source of contention between the two, who has been working on solo music with Malik following his exit from the group.
After Naughty Boy posted a photo with a filter on it of himself with Malik titled “Replace this,” Tomlinson tweeted, “Remember when you were 12 and you used to think those Mac filters for your pictures were cool haha ! Some people still do HA!”
“Jesus forgot you were such an in demand producer .... How does it feel to be riding on the back of someone else's career ?” Tomlinson also wrote to Naughty Boy in response to the photo.
That tweet prompted Malik to reply, “@Louis_Tomlinson remember when you had a life and stopped making bitchy comments about mine ?” which Naughty Boy retweeted.
As a result, the hashtag #TOMLINSONSLAYSAGAIN started trending on Twitter.
Malik revealed he was making new music with Naughty Boy back in March.
