An incredible time-lapse video showing One World Trade Center in New York being built from the group up surfaced last week, just as the observatory on the top floor opened to visitors for the first time.
The two-minute video by EarthCam was posted on May 28, the day before the observatory opened to the public. It shows construction beginning in October 2004, three years after the attacks on Sept. 11, 2001, through Memorial Day 2015.
EarthCam has also made other time-lapse videos, which are incredible to watch. The elevator ride up to the observatory has its own time-lapse video, showing visitors how New York City has changed over decades in just minutes.
Last year, EarthCam made the following video to show how the 9/11 Memorial Museum was built between 2004 and 2014.
