Amy Schumer opens up about body image when asked about her sex scene with Bill Hader in her newest comedy Trainwreck.

Most actresses are paranoid about how their body will look on camera, but Schumer could care less. She loves her curves and says they make her who she is.

The comedian comments to People that being honest about her body makes her confident.

“It’s very therapeutic for me to be like, ‘Yes, I’m not going to look like a malnourished bird,’ and I like speaking to that, as well as speaking to my work and what I’m doing.”

Schumer wasn’t nervous at all about her sex scene with Hader. In fact, it’s the one thing that doesn’t make her uncomfortable.

According to E! Online, Schumer does not mind bearing it all for the public to see, “I’m probably, like, 160 pounds right now and I can catch a** whenever I want. Like, that’s the truth. It’s not a problem."

In the movie, Schumer plays a serial dater. She explains how most of the situations in the movie were inspired by real events in her life.

“A lot of people have asked me if I intended to kind of flip the gender roles like I’m playing the guy, and that’s not been my experience at all.”

Schumer goes on to say, “I’m not going to apologize for who I am, and I’m going to actually love the skin that I’m in.”
