Former NBA player, Jackson Vroman, was found dead on Monday. He was 34.
The Phoenix Suns were the first to report Vroman's death. "We are very saddened to learn of the passing of Jackson Vroman. Our thoughts are with his family during this time," the team tweeted on Monday.
The Arizona Republic reported that an autopsy is scheduled later this week to determine the cause of Vroman's passing. The Lebanese Basketball league accounted a tragic car accident as the cause for Vroman's death, a report made through their official Twitter page. However, according to the Los Angeles County Medical Coroner, the cause of the death remains unconfirmed.
Vroman was found dead in the pool of his L.A. home.
The former Iowa State basketball player was drafted by the Chicago Bulls in 2004. He also played with the Phoenix Suns and New Orleans Pelicans.
Vroman was friends with singer Justin Bieber, poker player Dan Bilzerian, and NFL linebacker Shaun Phillips, who posted a series of photos on Instagram documenting the times he had with Vroman.
"You will always be my best friend, and I know you are watching over me," Phillips wrote in the caption for one picture.
