Bruce Jenner has made his debut as a woman named Caitlyn Jenner on the cover of Vanity Fair. The shoot was photographed by famed photographer Annie Leibovitz.

This is the first time Jenner has made the big reveal after talking about “her” with his family at length on the Keeping Up with the Kardashians: About Bruce special.

The former Olympian first revealed he would someday live as a woman during his groundbreaking interview with Diane Sawyer, which aired in April.

Just last month, Kim Kardashian told Access Hollywood she met Caitlyn recently and had only praise for the way she looked. "She was dressed up: beautiful makeup, beautiful hair,” she explained.

During the interview with Buzz Bissinger, Caitlyn explained, “If I was lying on my deathbed and I had kept this secret and never ever did anything about it, I would be lying there saying, ‘You just blew your entire life.’ ”

She also said, “I’m not doing this to be interesting. I’m doing this to live.”

As of Monday, Caitlyn created her own Twitter page and wrote as her first tweet, "I'm so happy after such a long struggle to be living my true self. Welcome to the world Caitlyn. Can't wait for you to get to know her/me."

The cover was shot in her Malibu, Calif. home.
