Spoiler alert!
Game of Thrones fans have been wildly speculating about Jon Snow's potential return next season, and a new interview with actress Carice van Houten suggests they might be on to something.
In an interview with The New Daily, Carice Van Houten hinted at Melisandre playing a major role next year.
"You’ve seen her clock Jon Snow, which is a great ending because you think, ‘Uh oh, what’s going to happen there,'" she said. "You feel that she is concentrating more and more towards Jon Snow...there are slight hints that something’s going to happen.”
Something major happening between Melisandre and Jon Snow, huh? This certainly is great evidence towards the theory that Melisandre will resurrect Jon Snow after his death in the Season 5 finale. Her character mysteriously returned to the wall right before Jon was stabbed, and she theoretically still has some sort of powers from burning Shireen.
Van Houten continued by saying that a producer recently told her something about Season 6 that she hadn't heard before but that is quite spectacular, although of course she said she couldn't talk about it. Could she have been told that she's bringing Jon Snow back to life?
Kit Harington recently took his first film role since being killed on Game of Thrones, as we previously reported, although that doesn't necessarily mean he won't be coming back, as the actor has done movies between seasons before.
Game of Thrones will return for its sixth season in 2016.
