Mojo Jojo can no longer roam the world free, because the Powerpuff Girls are back to save the day! After announcing plans to bring back Blossom, Bubbles and Buttercup back last year, Cartoon Network unveiled the new look Powerpuff Girls and their cast.

The network announced the new series in June 2014, following a January 2014 special. The original series began in 1998 and ran 78 episodes. The group was created by Craig McCracken and even won two Emmys.

The girls - who the Professor brought to life with a mix of sugar, spice and Chemical X - will look just like they did 10 years ago, which is great news for fans of the original show.

Cartoon Network also tweeted Vine videos with the new cast members. Amanda Leighton (The Fosters) is voicing Blossom, while Kristen Li (Monsters University) is Bubbles. Natalie Palamides (My Name Is Vivienne) voices Buttercup.

The Powerpuff Girls return in 2016... and now you can’t get their theme song out of your head can you?
