Channing Tatum got up close and personal with fans with a hilarious prank at a screening for his new movie Magic Mike XXL.
According to Entertainment Weekly, Tatum arranged a screening of his upcoming film and attended the event undercover as an old man.
The actor was disguised as an elderly marketing director named Scott. He sat down with unsuspecting viewers before the film began and asked them a series of questions for "research purposes."
He asked fans pressing questions about the film like, “Which would you say was the best actor out of all them?”
“Matthew McConaughey,” one honest woman answered.
Since fans were promised a 3-D screening of the highly anticipated film, Tatum had strippers surprise the audience when the lights went down. Fans cheered as the men performed and Tatum, still dressed as Scott, joined the strippers and gave one lucky woman a lap dance.
He then ditched his disguise and revealed his true identity to the audience and everyone cheered.
Tatum shared a fun pic of him in his Scott disguise on his Instagram.
This epic prank was done to promote Tatum’s Omaze campaign to help benefit the Runa Foundation, an organization that creates new value for tropical forests that benefit local people and ecosystem.
