Clint Eastwood made a joke about Caitlyn Jenner at Spike TV's Guys' Choice Awards this past weekend, but it will be cut out of the show when it airs on June 18.

Eastwood was introducing Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson when he made the joke, when he compared him to other athletes like "Jim Brown and Caitlyn Somebody..."

The network has confirmed to USA Today that the joke will be cut from the broadcast. "We will remove the reference in the version that will air," said Spike TV senior vice president of communications David Schwarz said.

Since Bruce Jenner’s debut as Caitlyn Jenner on the cover of Vanity Fair, she’s received a ton of support. She has also been the subject of insensitive remarks and jokes, and there was even a petition started urging her to give back her Olympic gold medal.

Despite some backlash, Caitlyn will go on a speaking tour, detailing her transition to a woman and giving hope to others going through the same situation.
