The daughter of the late Steve Irwin showed that she is all grown up in a new photo posted to Instagram accompanied by a quote about what being beautiful really means.

The Associated Press reported that Bindi Irwin, now 16, debuted a mature look with an even more mature quote about acceptance by writer Scott Westerfield.

"To be beautiful means to be yourself. You don't need to be accepted by others. You need to accept yourself. 'What you do, the way you think, makes you beautiful,'" the caption with the black-and-white selfie read.

Irwin is an advocate for and has spoken out about young girls and celebrities not showing too much skin and dressing appropriately for their age.

She was just 8-years-old when her famous father, known as “The Crocodile Hunter,” was killed after being pierced in the chest by the barb of a stingray while filming a documentary. Given the wonderful person she seems to have blossomed into would surely make him very proud.
