How do you get out of paying for a fender bender? By being The Rock it seems!

Furious 7 star Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson posted a story on his Instagram about the day he accidentally sideswiped a vehicle that was parked in the street a month ago.

In the caption for his photo, Johnson explained that he was driving to work listening to music when he heard a loud noise and looked in his rear view mirror only to see that he had destroyed the side mirror off a pick up truck that was parked in the driveway.

He immediately turned around to drive back and saw the vehicle’s owner coming to inspect the damage. The shocked man looked at Johnson after being asked if he was the owner of the truck. When Johnson explained what had happened and he’d be happy to “take care of everything,” the man simply asked if he was “The Rock.”

After confirming his identity, the excited man was more thrilled about the “awesome story” he would have than the damage. In fact, he refused Johnson’s offer to pay for the damage after he checked on the man some days later.

Johnson identified the owner as Audie Bridges of Wakefield, Massachusetts and he thanked him for “being so cool about the whole thing.”

The Boston Globe reported Bridges himself said that Johnson didn’t do that much damage to his vehicle and he was able to put the mirror back in place.
