Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson and Spike TV announced on Saturday that the action star will produce a variety show to entertain U.S. troops serving overseas. Although the show was announced before Veterans Day 2015, it won’t air until Veterans Day 2016.

The show, titled Rock The Troops, will be filmed at a base overseas and the location will be announced soon. It will include musical and comedy performances and appearances from film, television and sports stars.

Johnson is producing the show with his Seven Bucks Production partner Dany Garcia and Casey Patterson Entertainment.

“Dwayne Johnson has always made supporting the brave men and women serving overseas a priority throughout his career,” the show’s executive producer, Casey Patterson, said in a statement. “Our Mission is to honor, inspire and entertain in an epic way, as only The Rock can. He’ll bring all the heart, humor and big-bad energy that the world loves him for, to this show. I couldn’t have more dedicated partners than Dwayne, Dany and the Seven Bucks team for this very worthy event.”

“It is so important to me to give back to the troops. I really want to create something special for our boys and girls who are overseas and hopefully we do such a good job that we can do it again and again,” Johnson told Entertainment Weekly Saturday at the Spike TV Guy’s Choice Awards. “I have military in my family, some vets and two Navy SEALs. That was the genesis of that.”

Considering that the show won’t happen for over a year, it’s no surprise that talent wasn’t announced this weekend.

Johnson can currently be seen on the big screen in San Andreas, which grossed $26.4 million in its second weekend. He also starred in Furious 7.
