Long before Bruce Jenner became comfortable enough to reveal he feels he was born the woman he has become, Caitlyn Jenner, it seems Family Guy foreshadowed what was to come.
Back in 2009, Stewie is seen telling Brian that the former Olympian is a woman in an episode titled “We Love You, Conrad," which sees Stewie dating The Hills star Lauren Conrad.
Uproxx reports the offhand joke features Stewie telling his dog pal that Jenner is a “beautiful, elegant Dutch woman” with a “vagina" who gave birth to Brody Jenner.
In what’s likely another coincidence, Married With Children aired a similar joke about Jenner being a woman in a 1996 episode.
Just last year, before Kris Jenner knew about Caitlyn herself, she admitted these rumors have been swirling since the ‘70s, so these jokes aren’t too far-fetched.
“That's a story they've been writing since the ‘70s, and I think they just keep regurgitating stuff,” she said at the time. “And the more sensational the headline, they are going to sell magazines.”
Bruce is now living as Caitlyn, and will appear in a docu-series starting next month about her transition.
