New couple alert: Gigi Hadid and Joe Jonas are officially dating!
E! News has confirmed that the 20-year-old model and the 25-year-old singer are an item.
"Gigi and Joe are hanging out again romantically," an insider told E!. "They are taking things light and just enjoying each others' friendship.
The two have been spotted together and sparking dating rumors since the beginning of the month when they were seen getting lunch in Los Angeles. They were recently seen together in Toronto, where they stayed in the same hotel. Photographers captured their P.D.A. and an eyewitness said that they “looked like a new high school couple.”
“Gigi feels very comfortable with Joe,” the insider explained. “It's very easy to talk about everything that's going on in her life with him. He understands where she is at and they are not in any rush."
Hadid amicably split from singer Cody Simpson last month for the second time. Their breakup came from wanting to spend more time on their careers but hope their “paths will bring them together in the future,” according to an official statement from their reps.
Though Hadid and Jonas’s romance has only just begun, a source revealed, “Things are going really well for them.”
