Iggy Azalea has become known for speaking her mind, and she did just that when confronted about why her song with Britney Spears, “Pretty Girls,” didn’t do as well as they had anticipated.

A fan tweeted the Australian rapper that “Pretty Girls” had “flopped,” peaking at No. 29 on the Billboard charts. It was released early due to a leak. They did one television performance together for the song, which was at the Billboard Music Awards last month.

Her fan wrote, “even if PG flopped a little bit still getting a lot of views on YT and it's the summer anthem of 2015, so whatever we love you,” to which Azalea replied that it didn’t get enough promotion.

“Its difficult to send a song up the charts without additional promo and tv performances etc. unfortunately im just featured...” she wrote.

She added that it got a “powerful start” and she “would have enjoyed performing it alot,” adding, “but you need content to compete in 2015.”
