Jake Lloyd, the former child star who played Anakin Skywalker in Star Wars: Episode I - The Phantom Menace, was arrested after leading police on a car chase in South Carolina this weekend.

Lloyd, 26, was driving in Charleston, when Sheriff’s deputies spotted him driving carelessly. According to TMZ, the deputies started chasing him and the chase continued for miles, even going into another country.

He was passing cars over a double yellow line and driving at high speeds. He eventually lost control of the car and went off the road. The car went through a fence and finally stopped in a wooded area, hitting trees.

Police arrested Lloyd for reckless driving, failing to stop, resisting arrest and driving without a license. He’s still in police custody.

Lloyd, who also starred in Jingle All The Way with Arnold Schwarzenegger, is no longer acting. As Us Weekly points out, he was last seen in 2005’s Madison, a drama starring Jim Caviezel.
