Jill and Jessa Duggar will speak out about being the victims of their older brother, Josh Duggar’s sexual abuse during The Kelly File on Friday.
Their parents, Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar, told their side of the events in an interview that aired Wednesday. They confirmed that four of their daughters were victimized, with the now-married Jill and Jessa being two of them.
Their main hardship with the ordeal seems to be the media attention surrounding it. In the interview, they defend their older brother.
“We’re victims. They can’t do this to us,” Jill says in the preview while crying.
Jessa, who’s currently expecting her first child, added, “The system that was set up to protect kids, both those who make stupid mistakes or have problems like this in their life and the ones that are affected by those choices. It’s greatly failed.”
Jessa added of her brother that people calling him a pedophile or child molester are going “so overboard” and it’s a “lie.”
