Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen may not be coming back to reprise their role as Michelle Tanner in the Full House remake Fuller House, but that does not mean the youngest tanner will be forgotten.

"The Michelle character is still going to have a presence," Jodie Sweetin, who played Stephanie Tanner in the original series, told Us Weekly Us Weekly. "It's not like we're not talking about her. I love and support [Mary-Kate and Ashley], and I think we're going to be just fine."

Most of the original cast is signed on to Netflix's original series including, Bob Saget, Dave Coulier, John Stamos, Lori Loughlin, Candace Cameron Bure and Andrea Barber. The new show will follow D.J. Tanner (Bure) enlisting the help of her sister Stephanie (Sweetin) and the best friend Kimmi (Barber) after the death of her husband, assorting to UPI.

"We first started talking about [the spinoff] in like 2007, 2008," Sweetin said. "This has been a long time in the making. I had kind of given up for periods of time where I'm like, 'It's not going to happen!' But we pitched it to Netflix and they were so excited about it."

Fuller House is set to begin filming next month.
