John Luke Robertson from A&E's hit Duck Dynasty wed Mary Kate McEacharn on Saturday, June 27.
"I had an amazing time!" the 19-year-old Duck Dynasty star gushed to Us Weekly in an exclusive interview.
The teenage couple wed at the Robertson family farm in West Monroe, La. The two exchanged personal vows in front of more than 800 friends and family at their outdoor wedding. Robertson's father, CEO of Duck Commander, officiated the wedding.
Prior to the vows, Willie had surprised his son and soon-to-be daughter-in-law and their wedding guests with a mariachi band.
At the reception, the hundreds of guests later were served grilled chicken skewers with vegetables, hamburgers, mini tacos, barbecue shrimp, and brisket sliders, while listening to a local band play music. The couple's wedding planner, Erin Vowell, also explained to Us Weekly that guests were later treated to a six tier white cake with flower adornments and cronut instead of a groom's cake.
"It was one of the best days of my life! It was everything I hoped it would be and more," the blushing bride stated.
John Luke proposed on his 19th birthday in October 2014.
"I know my parents married young as well, and they have always been examples of what 'could be' to me," John Luke Robertson made in a statement after the engagement. "Fast-forward 22 years and they are more in love than ever, and I hope Mary Kate and I are the same way in the years to come. God has truly blessed us."
Robertson and his wife, who is also 19, met at a Christian summer camp in 2010. The two began dating in March 2013.
For future plans, the newlyweds will both be attending Liberty University in the fall. McEacharn stopped attending Louisiana Tech to plan their wedding.
Duck Dynasty's newest season premiere on June 24. Episodes air Wednesdays at 9:30 p.m.
