John Stamos, best known for playing Uncle Jesse on Full House, was arrested late Friday on suspicion of driving under the influence in Santa Monica. He was hospitalized after he was stopped by police.

The police report states that there were “numerous calls” received about a possible DUI in the area, reports Us Weekly. When police stopped the 51-year-old, he was taken to the hospital for a “possible medical condition.” He wasn’t arrested until tests at the hospital showed that he was driving under the influence.

Stamos was the only person in his vehicle at the time.

According to TMZ, which obtained a video of Stamos being pulled over, the actor was cited for a misdemeanor DUI. He is set to make a court appearance on Sept. 11.

Stamos has a busy few months ahead. In July, he will be announcing the Primetime Emmy nominations with Uzo Aduba and in the fall, he stars in the new Fox comedy Grandfathered. He will also be working on Fuller House, the Full House sequel series that is set to debut on Netflix next year.
