Earlier this month, Kellan Lutz brought one of his biggest fans, Brianna Siciliano, to her New Jersey prom.

The Twilight hunk explained to Cosmopolitan that the two have been friends for years.

Siciliano reached out to Lutz five years ago on Twitter, asking him to be her friend. "She asked if I would be her friend because she had been bullied, and was just really depressed in life," he explained.

The two kept in touch for years.

So when, Siciliano had asked Lutz to prom, he said yes!

Lutz, who was working in New York, borrowed a Bentley from a dealership and drove 50 miles to the Jersey girl's home.

"We danced the night away," he said. "It was really special for both of us."

Lutz also explained that many students ended up being surprised at his appearance.
"Half the school knew that I might be coming, the other half thought she was lying," he said. "So when I showed up, even the principal was, like, 'Wow, thank you for coming.'"

Though some students may have doubted Siciliano, the two ended up winning Prom King and Prom Queen. Lutz and Siciliano talked about the win in a video on Instagram.

Lutz has been asked to Navy balls, homecomings, and proms, but this is the first time he has ever said yes. On explaining why he decided to say yes to Siciliano, he claimed it was based on the relationship the two had.

"We had that kind of relationship of me befriending her and trying to give her love in her life," he said. "I think she loves herself more now [than when we first met on Twitter]. It's a big different in age when you're 13 to 18."

Brianna Siciliano will be attending college in the fall.
