Another TLC series is going to have to undergo some changes, but for a much different reason. Matt and Amy Roloff, the stars of Little People, Big World, announced that they are getting a divorce, over a year after announcing their separation.

The sad news was announced on the show’s website. The couple announced a trial separation in March 2014.

“After 27 years of marriage, it is with great sadness that we have come to the difficult decision to file for divorce,” the couple said in a joint statement. “We are proud of what we have accomplished together including raising four wonderful children who have grown to become remarkable adults and building our strong and ongoing successful businesses.”

The TLC series focused on the Roloffs and their four children, twins Jeremy and Zack, 25; Molly, 21, and Jacob, 18. The Roloffs and Zack were diagnosed with dwarfism.

In their statement, the couple said that they will continue working together to support their family and thanked their friends and fans for support.

“Our kids and our ever growing family, and the love and support we have for them, will be our priority,” the statement continued. “We will continue to work together side by side in the daily responsibilities for our many current ventures. We would like to thank our family, friends and all our fans for their continued support and understanding during this difficult time.”

Little People, Big World began in 2006 and finished its 13th season last fall. It’s not clear if the show will continue this year.
